Designing your dream home is an exciting and collaborative process. We begin with the Preliminary Design Phase, where we create the initial floor plan, layout, and front elevation all based on your vision. To ensure your home is properly tailored to the site, we require a property survey and elevation certificate at the start of the process. The Preliminary Design Phase allows for revisions to refine the design prior to moving forward.
Â
Once the preliminary design is approved, and the final square footage has been determined, your plans will move into the Design Development phase, where we refine the details that bring your home to life. This phase includes interior elevations, electrical plans and the final schedules for windows and doors. If you are working with an interior designer, this is the ideal time for collaboration.Â
Â
As the plans progress, you’ll receive a final review set that includes detailed elevations, wall sections, framing plans and construction details.Â
Â
Upon completion of the architectural plans, you will receive a stamped PDF of construction drawings, including foundation plans engineered for your site. If revisions are needed after finalization, they will be billed at an hourly rate of $125 per hour. Â Our goal is to create a home that is beautiful and functional, while ensuring a seamless process from concept to construction.
